Allocating and delegating of a district to minister

Stream lining the state administration and management is a top agenda of the state government. Toeing in the line of this agenda, each cabinet minister has been allocated a district assigning him a designation of Minister incharge of the concerned district. In charge secretaries are supposed to visit the district, get aware of the questions and problems of the general public, consequently instruct and guide district administration for the remedial steps to be taken.

In extra circumstances or conditions as i.e. in case of manmade disturbances such as riots, disturbances, or unnatural calamities as drought, feminine, earthquake, floods, continuous presence of the district head and in charge minister is required in district head quarter to discharge proper guidance and commands to administrative staff.

Role of the secretary in charge of the district concerned is to act as a coordinator between district administration and higher authorities of state administration.
